Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12-step program that gives people the tools and relationships to help find a new way of living. CR is for anyone desiring freedom from past or current hurts, habits, or hang-ups.

The purpose of CR is to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through 8 recovery principles based on Jesus' teachings. By working and applying these principles in community, we gain freedom from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, joy, serenity, and, most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.

Every Thursday night we work out our recovery with a supportive community that walks with us through hard times and CELEBRATES our victories!

What does it look like to attend on Thursday?

  • Dinner at 5:45pm

  • Large Group Meeting at 6:30pm

  • Share Groups at 7:30pm

Where does celebrate recovery meet?

We meet in the fellowship hall (yellow square bellow) at Hood River Alliance Church, 2650 Montello Ave. Park in the main parking lot and enter the main doors (red arrow bellow). Someone will greet you and lead you to the fellowship hall.

What is a step study group?

Step study groups are a safe way to start unpacking our hurts. They meet weekly for 6-8 months. They are gender specific and usually consist of 7-10 people. Once the group gets rolling its closed to new members in order to keep the group consistent. It’s a great way to build deep friendships and support as we each unpack and find God’s healing for our struggles in life.
