Missions is one of the core values deeply rooted in the Christian and Missionary Alliance church history. Here at Hood River Alliance Church we support both global and local needs. Below are a few of the different organizations we partner with throughout the year.

“CAMA” stands for Compassion and Mercy Associates. We serve in a variety of relief and development ministries that flesh out the good news of God’s love for people—body and soul. We are the relief arm of the Missionary Alliance Church.

Remember Nhu is a movement of people who dream of a better world. We believe that children have an inalienable right to grow up happy and healthy, and the idea that any child should be victimized in this way is appalling to all of us.

Living Water International exists to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water, and to experience "living water"—the gospel of Jesus Christ—which alone satisfies the deepest thirst.

Each year we partner with the Christian Missionary Alliance of Guatemala in San Lucas to aid in their church planting endeavors in Membrial and other places throughout the region.
As a church we encourage and support our youth to be actively engaged in missions. We offer a international mission opportunity every three years and they rotate geographically based on areas of need and where we feel God asking us to serve. Our last mission trip was to the Dominican Republic in 2018.
LOCAL
We love partnering with local agencies and groups to both serve and financially support throughout the year. Some of the various partnerships we have are:
The Next Door, Hope Family Care Center, Hood River Warming Shelter, FISH Food Bank, St. Francis House, Helping Hands Against Violence, Jonah Ministries, Sunshine Club and Young Life.
