Where we're going

Our time in Kenya

Our team travels to Nairobi and Ngong to serve alongside Remember Nhu, an organization working to prevent child trafficking by giving vulnerable children a safe home, an education, and the love of Jesus.

  • A five-day kids camp built around the Armor of God, for the children we'll be serving.
  • Worship with the local Kenyan church that walks with these kids year-round.

Pray for safe travels and unity for our team: Addi, Anders, Ashlie, Beth, Greg, John, Karen, Keith, Lori, Malia, Paige, Tina, and Tom.
AUG6
Pray for Michelle and Joseph, the Remember Nhu leadership team welcoming us to Kenya.
AUG7
Pray for the 40 kids we'll be serving, that their hearts would be open to the message and to what God is calling them into.
AUG8
Pray that our own hearts would be broken open, so we can love like Jesus loves.
AUG9
Pray for the Kenyan church we'll worship alongside this Sunday.
AUG10
Camp begins! Pray as the kids explore the Armor of God, starting with the Belt of Truth.
AUG11
Pray for the kids and our team as camp continues, that God's truth would take root in young hearts.
AUG12
Pray for energy, patience, and joy for our team through a full day of camp.
AUG13
Pray for the final day of camp, that what the kids have learned about God's armor would stay with them.
AUG14
Pray as we transition from camp, giving thanks for the week and resting for the days ahead.
AUG15
Pray for the house parents and the kids in group 2: Hilda, Ruth, Valentine, Neema, Nelly, Jeremy, John, Suleiman, and Teddy.
AUG16
Pray for the house parents and the kids in group 3: James, Harrison, Grevas, Meshack, Dorcas, Norah, and Jepheth.
AUG17
Pray for the house parents and the kids in group 4: Kevin, Vincent, Flavian, John, Preston, Brian, Justus, and Timothy.
AUG18
Pray for safe travels home, and that we would carry this experience into our lives and mission back home.
