Hood River Alliance Church
2026 Mid Year Giving Report
January through June 2026
Thank You
We are so thankful for your generosity that allows us to live out our mission and vision. The financial giving of our church family impacts so many lives, both inside our church and outside its walls. The thoughtfulness and sacrifice of our community is what allows our church body to thrive. This report is our way of showing you what your giving has made possible in the first half of 2026.
Where We Stand
Through June, giving to the General Fund totals $296,501 against a year to date budget of $381,594, which puts us at 78% of budget. While we are behind where we hoped to be, we are deeply encouraged by the faithfulness we see week after week. Designated giving beyond the General Fund has been remarkable, and the ministries highlighted in this report are funded thanks to your generosity.

What Your Giving Has Funded
The General Fund: Fueling Everything We Do
The General Fund is the foundation of our shared life and mission. When you give to the General Fund, you are caring for a building that blesses far beyond Sunday mornings, keeping our facility open and available as a gathering place for our community throughout the week. You are also supporting our pastoral staff, equipping them to live out the call of shepherding our church through teaching, counsel, prayer, and presence in the everyday moments of our life together. Week in and week out, this fund is what keeps every part of our church moving.
Three Missions Trips Sent
This year your giving is helping send three teams to serve beyond our walls: Guatemala in April, Ireland in June, and Kenya coming up in August. By the end of the summer, 30 people from our church family will have gone, served, and come home changed. Designated missions giving this year has included $36,265 for Kenya, $10,133 for Guatemala, and $18,734 for Ireland.
Sanctuary Refresh
If you have worshiped with us recently, you have seen it: fresh paint, a reworked stage, and a space that feels renewed. Volunteers gave hundreds of hours alongside your financial support, and new pews will be installed and ready for us when we gather together again on July 26 after concluding our three weeks of worshiping at the park. This year, $34,341 has been given to the Building Fund. Combined with the $100,000 given last year, that brings us to $134,341 as we work toward our goal of $250,000 to fund our Refresh Project.
Celebrate Recovery
Every week, Celebrate Recovery offers a safe place for people walking through hurts, habits, and hang-ups to find hope in Christ. Your giving helps provide the meals shared there each week, keeping the ministry free and welcoming for everyone who walks in. Giving to Celebrate Recovery this year totals $1,516.
Blessing Others from Our Generosity Fund
Through the Generosity Fund, we have filled over 20 tanks of gas, purchased $1,200 in groceries, and replaced a set of tires for community members in need. We were also able to scholarship two dads and their sons to attend a men's retreat together. These simple gifts have opened doors for prayer, conversation, and connection to our church family. This year $1,318 has been given to the Generosity Fund.
